Guidance for Fiscal Second Quarter

Continued Growth Expected

Amy Hood, Microsoft's finance chief, provided guidance for the fiscal second quarter. The company projects revenue between $60 billion and $61 billion, slightly ahead of average analyst estimates of $61.1 billion. Microsoft also expects operating expenses to grow by 15-17% in the coming quarter.
